The front door of the Mk7 opens downwards to reveal the filter wheel and the front of the Image Orthicon tube to allow filter and tube cleaning.
It is worth noting that the tube only has a small amount of movement for back focusing of the zoom lens, operational focusing being done by the lens. Earlier cameras moved the tube for focusing.
