The rear door of the Mk7 opens to reveal the rear of the scanning yoke. The Image orthicon tube is changed from the rear of the yoke withdrawing with the scanning section of the yoke still attached.
The box below the yoke contains the power supply transformers for the camera and the lens.
Attached to the fan is a nozzle that engages in the rubber gasket on the back of the yoke. A flap vale controls the amount of cooling air admitted to keep the tube at an optimum temperature.
The handle at the right operates the filter wheel through the bevel gear mechanism.
