Pye Mk5 842400 Image orthicon Camera PSU side and rear view

This is the side of the 842400/00 camera power supply unit, PSU, and it's front panel with the fuses, neon indicator lamps and the meter. Both the CCU and PSU could pull forwards out of the rack or cabinet for maintenance.

The design is a conventional linear one with mains transformer and series regulators. The 5 large valves are twin power triodes used are the series regulator element.
