4" Watson Lens for Pye Mk4 camera

4" Watson Lens for Pye Mk4 camera

This lens has the gear ring quadrant for the motor drive to the lens iris. In the arrangement used on the Pye Mk4 camera each lens is adjusted independently of the others when it is presented in the taking position.

The small tab just below the gear allows the iris position to be locked when the lens is used with a camera without the optional iris drive motor. Not all lenses had the gear ring fitted.

A typical lens range would be 2", 4", 8" & 20" by Watson of Barnet. A 39mm. lens by Wray was available.
