Most of the electronics for the camera is contained in the CCU/PSU. The cardboard & tape enclosure has some modifications and a connector in it. Not shown in the picture is the head amplifier that mounts on the rear of the tube at the back of the camera.
The white corrugated pipe is part of the temperature control system.
