Marconi MkIX Television Camera Camera chassis

The camera chassis and the optical system are almost the same as the MkVIII camera. A control for filter change is now on the camera rear.

The two camera programme microphone connectors are near the front on the cable side. In the A version they faced downwards and were subject to damage. In the B version they face outwards. Two gain controls are near the red tube base.

The microphone signals were sent to the CCU on two carriers, 400Khz and 650Khz, multiplexed on the the height control wires. The electronics for this are on camera PCB #5 cues and comm's. Optionally these could be omitted from the board.
