The EMI type 8 was a standard CCTV camera from the early 1960s. It used a 25mm vidicon tube and a "C" mount lens. It was available in 405, 525, or 625 line standards and it incorperated an RF modulator so that

it could be used with ordinary televisions. A useful feature was the ability to opeatae from 12 volts DC as well as AC mains..
