Over the years EMI produced different families of cameras, each with there own style.
The 1936-8 Emitrons, the post war CPS Emitrons.
Then with a complete change of style the 2xx cameras followed by the 2xxx (2001) series.

(1) Notes: Dates are tricky!, do you take the design date or the date entered service? It's all a bit vague.
(2) The EMI "Emitron" tube was of the Iconoscope class of tubes.
(3) The "Image Emitron" had an image section in the front of the tube. EMI called this a "Super Emitron"
(4) The "CPS Emitron" was of the Orthicon class of tubes. (Cathode Potential Stabilised)
(5) This tube appears to be a midget Image Iconoscope tube, a post war development of (3)
(6) Portable case. These were a standard size 61D x 45.7H x 22.9W cms. They had special corner fittings to clip together and were dark green for the case and light green for the front & rear panels.
"I.O." is the abbreviation for Image Orthicon, a large camera tube in 3 inch and 4.5 inch sizes.
"Plumbicon" is a registered trade mark of Philips, as well as being a Lead Oxide camera tube!
"TTH" is Taylor, Taylor, Hobson of Leicester.
