BICC Mk2 television camera cable
This BICC camera cable was introduced in
the early 1950s and it was used on Pye and Marconi cameras. BICC offered
a custom design service with 22 circuits or in the case of the camera
cable 32. I believe that there were 3 co-ax cables included.
The large brass shell is over 3 inches in diameter and has a slow thread,
with a substantial rubber boot for strain relief. A "C" spanner
was supplied to aid in tightening the joint.
Top right is the connector "cap" to keep the dirt out!
