BICC Mk2 television camera cable
This BICC camera cable was introduced in
the early 1950s and it was used on Pye and Marconi cameras. BICC offered
two versions of this cable with 23 circuits or 32.
This is the 32 circuit version, pictured, a note dated 1951 states "there were 4 co-ax cables.
The large brass shell is over 3 inches in diameter and has a slow thread,
with a substantial rubber boot for strain relief. A "C" spanner
was supplied to aid in tightening the joint.
Top right is the connector "cap" to keep the dirt out!
