Bosch KCH1000 Television Camera

The KCH1000 camera was based on the chassis of the KCM125 camera.

This camera was part of the "Eureka" High Definition project. The BBC used 4 D1 digital video connected together to record the pictures, see BBC Research report.

 

The camera was also branded BTS and the BBC used one or more for research.

A "Multi Standard HDTV Camera" was described in Wireless World; 1988 pages 708-710


A report, in Wireless World February 1986, describes an experimental HDTV camera and states that 5 were made and sent to research institutions. the aspect ratio is given as 5:3. This camera appears to be a predecessor to the developed KCH1000.
